We have an obligation to rise up to the challenge of being responsible custodians of the world we live in. But we can only do that if we understand how all it’s intricate webs interact. On the level of our Bonsai hobby, learning and knowing about soil is the ultimate key to success.

To enable us to make informed decisions, we will today discuss the origins of soil, look at how it supports life and how we can describe different types of soil. We will then apply what we’ve discovered to bonsai soil, and try and draw some conclusions to take away with us.
