Police are investigating a possible gang link after a 33-year-old man was shot dead in Eerste River on Friday morning.

Cape Town police said the shooter confronted the victim and two women in a Wendy house, Eye Witness News reported.

The man fired several shots, killing the man.

Police spokesperson November Filander said they were investigating a possible gang link.

“The 20-year-old suspect was arrested in a nearby street. He will appear in the Blue Downs Magistrate's Court on Monday on charges of murder.”
