The ACVV Koeberg (Afrikaanse Christelike Vroue Vereniging) is a non-denominational Christian organisation, working towards the upliftment of communities. We are a registered social services office, providing services to the communities of Melkbosstrand, Philadelphia, Morningstar, Frankdale and surrounding farms.

Die hoof fokus van ons dienste is gerig op kinders en jeug met die fokus op opvoeding en ondersteuning van die jonger generasies. Ondersteunings projekte sluit in: 'n voltydse remediering onderwyseres wat by twee skole in ons gemeenskap klas gee. Bydrae tot voorskoolse onderwys by 'n skool. Ondersteuning van Melkbos Care Centre, 'n nasorg sentrum waar minderbevoorregte kinders hulp kry met huiswerk en 'n gekookte bord kos ontvang.

We are in the process of starting our very first Early Childhood Development centre aimed at children aged 3 to 7. The centre will boast qualified staff including a Grade R teacher, professional volunteers who will assist us with programmes aimed at the development of the children, special education programs to assist children with learning difficulties and counselling for the upliftment of the children with the focus on creating healthy self-esteem and a belief in their abilities, something the majority of the underprivileged children struggle with.

Ander projekte sluit in kospakkies vir werklose families, hulp vir senior burgers, intervensie in gevalle van mishandeling, opvoeding van ouers oor hulle verantwoordelikheid en kinder regte, samewerking met die polisie vir vele gemeenskaps projekte, werkskeppings projekte, lewensvaardigheids projekte, verskaffing van skool skryfbehoeftes aan minderbevoorregte kinders, en vele meer!

We are always in need of assistance due to the nature and the vastness of our reach... We urge anyone who can help to contact us. We accept all donations of second hand goods such as toys, clothing, outdoor equipment such as bicycles, sports equipment and play structures, homeware, etc. Donations of any non-perishable food items are appreciated which we use to distribute to unemployed families - add some key items to your monthly grocery shop - you can help feed a hungry child.
